ZAMBONI OPERATOR / MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Currently seeking a Zamboni Operator / Maintenance Assistant to join the Parks, Recreation and Culture team working at a Multiplex ice facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Zamboni during ice sessions as well as performing a variety of ice maintenance, janitorial and minor building maintenance activities.

Required qualifications for this position include:
• Current Ice Facility Operator or Refrigeration Operator (RO) certificate
• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license
• Previous experience in janitorial and building maintenance work

The current rate of pay for this position is $27.20 per hour ($33.41 per hour when operating the Zamboni) plus 15% in-lieu of benefits.
